Right, to start things off.
I have been away for a little bit suffering with breathing problems, so until these clean up, I am not to do any sanding/painting/dremeling for a few weeks.
In the mean time, I will be soldering, haunting Blaze to do my artwork and helping Jochen do some more testing.
While I have been gone, I dremeled a few of the slurpee straws:

There's still plenty of straw left to do MANY more.
Here's a quick sample of what one of the purple ones looks like on my purple TE stick:

Beautiful isn't it?
Jochen sent me a few button etches (You can place these beneath your buttons [Seimitsu PS14-K-N ONLY] along with a microswitch holder) to test out.
First I placed one underneath without any paper:
You can see it clearly but not quite. I personally like it like this as it gives way to some friction found in the buttons when they have their default plungers in them. Which is nice if you're like me and like the sensitivity of Sanwa buttons, but really hate the texture/rough edges and prefer Seimitsu like I do.
Next I tried it with some paper behind it (This is moreso ideal if you are not using an Arc-Eye LED mod) It shows up the imprints much better.

Only problem is that I used card, it makes the button a little stiff. So I'd recommend using very thin black paper and cutting it a touch smaller than necessary.
This is how they all look fully installed WITHOUT paper:

And this would be my now fully completed TE stick:

Next up, I'll be Daisy chaining wires and showing you how to wire up an arcade stick bit by bit.
Oh and until then, have a nice clearer picture of my Shadaloo dustwasher:

Beautiful isn't it?
Until then!
